Crystal Software Limited has developed a Web Application that will enable field officers of Microfinance Institutions to access the Loan Performer data base away in the field. This will enable savings and credit officers to enter data directly into the system from the field.
The Web App can be run on mobile phones, smart phones, tablets, lap tops, or desk tops by simply typing the address into your browser (Internet Explorer, Mozila Firefox, Google Chrome etc). This will speed up data entry from multiple locations.
Note that the Web App is not a replacement of the desk top application but just an enhancement to enable MFIs to render certain services to their clients while in the field. It is an add - on to enable data entry and viewing of reports.
Using a tablet, loan and savings officers will be able to carry out certain transactions remotely such as: Loan repayment, savings withdrawal, savings deposit etc. LPF configurations are set only on the desk top application and one can not modify them via the Web App.
The Web and Desk top applications both connect to the same database and transactions entered via the Web App are immediately visible on the desk top application.

The web app has a server manager to enable the CCS network administrator to manage subscribed MFI databases. You will have to provide Crystal Clear Software Limited with the connection string to your remote database (Server: IP address or URL, Database name, User name and Password) in order to get you started and set up the MFI short name. Afterwards, you will be able to change your login details under the menu Settings.
